Navigating uncertainty: what if less leadership but more leadership was the answer?
Tools and reflections on the notion of "leader" when the swell is high

In a context of significant changes, both in the environment and within organizations, and the resulting increase in the degree of uncertainty, it is tempting for managers to switch to "short reins" or "tight control & daily reporting" mode.

While sometimes centralized and rapid decision-making, requiring precise and instantaneous execution, is necessary (in a crisis situation for example), daily life is more about strong disruptions and complexity than permanent chaos.

In this context, it can be helpful to resist the temptation to develop "stormy weather" leadership practices that better serve the organization's interests and objectives, build trust and capacity within teams, and thus foster long-term engagement. This experiential conference will focus on discussing this topic.
